When it comes to journeying through the material in this course, a light to moderate weighted bell is going to be optimal as this course is predominantly a skill-oriented course with a focus on technical mastery. As a general guide: Woman→ 6-10KG Kettlebell. Men→ 8-16KG Kettlebell

All of the above… “Assuming” that you have some experience with movements such as the Swing, Swing Clean, and optionally yet preferably, the Swing snatch. These movements are not taught in this course but I will direct you to resources to learn them if needed. I offer plenty of regressions for those not comfortable with the snatch as well… The material in this course will be new for everyone. Even if you are an advanced practitioner who’s familiar with some of these movements there will be plenty of nuances and subtle details I explain that will create lot’s of Aha’s and “ahhh that’s what I was missing…”
Absolutely! The skills themselves will be technically focused and with that, come with LOTS of repetitions. I also guide you through Integrative Flows where we will, in live time, run through a timed workout together. Not only will these challenge your strength, endurance, and movement quality, but are also brilliant for increasing mental adaptability, focus, neurological functions such as memory, coordination, and mindfulness. AKA, a fantastic aging supplement to keep the brain young and healthy!
No, however, this course is an important prerequisite for learning how to juggle as it teaches the movements and patterns that are essential to then be able to add flips on top of. People often jump into juggling without learning how to move through various planes of motion therefore adding frustration, difficulty, and lack of understanding when it comes to juggling. I make sure to relate everything in this course to juggling so you can form this understanding. All my students go through this material before starting to juggle…
You can view all the material from a laptop, phone, or casted onto a TV. The Somble platform I use also includes an app that you can download that offers a seamless user experience, a private group chat and many other functions. Feel free to take your phone to your local gym, set up, and start learning!
I recommend Competition bells which are larger bells (all the same size but with varying weights…). These are a more comfortable Bell opposed to the Cast Iron bells. My Favorite bells come from Eleiko (they have an 8 and 12 KG), I also enjoy using Titan Fitness Kettlebells (they have a 8, 10, and 12 KG bell option). Side note: these are also my favorite bells for Juggling. If these aren't available, look on Facebook Market place and your local fitness store. Amazon has a selection as well.
